Navala Fiji - Traditional Fijiian Village

Navala is a village in Fiji that still uses traditional Fiji construction for all its bure (huts). It is in the interior accessed from Ba and has a picturesque setting in the Navala River valley surrounded by mountain ranges and grasslands.

Access is by road via the Kings Rd to Ba Town then south to Navala or via the Nadi Back Road and Nausori Highlands-Bukuya Road, then north to Navala. It can also be accessed via helicopter.

The village homes are made up of all thatched bure (huts)and in the middle of the village 'green' (rara) you will notice the 'sign of the cross' as that is how it is structured. The only concrete buildings are the school and the church.

Visitors are more than welcome to stay at a fee and fees collected from here go towards the development of the village and children's education. Phone: Int + (679) 6511520
