On Tuesday 4th of December on a day cruise on the ship Coongoola in Vanuatu, guests had the pleasure to see two dugongs surface close to the ship! This occurred after the guests had visited Tranquillity Island dive base for snorkelling, a visit to the turtle rookery and a beach barbecue. As the ship set sail and departed the island one dugong followed the ship for some time before casually returning to the shallows giving great delight to those on board.
